How do I Activate Commodity segment in my account ?


Online Process:

1) Individual accounts opened post 01-09- 2020 may activate the commodity segment using single point. Please find below the steps for your reference.


·         Customer may login through https://sp.mastertrust.co.in/login and click on “Segment Activation” option as shown in the below screenshot.



·           Post clicking this option, you may get an option to Add New Segments which are not currently active in your account. Click on “Next” button after selecting the segments.


·        Read the Risk Disclosure. Check in the Risk Disclosure box and click on Continue Button.



On the next page, Select Income Range, Upload the supporting documents, Read and Accept the Terms and Conditions and click on Proceed to E-Sign.

Your request for modification will be e-signed through Aadhar based OTP. So you should be having access to a mobile number or e-mail registered with Aadhar database.

Post successful submission of request it could take maximum 24-48 hours’ time to get the segment activated in your account.

 

 

2) The inactive clients registered for trading only in NSE / BSE before 01-04-2015 and wish to open account in MCX/NCDEX, such clients are required to submit the duly signed new KYC Form along with necessary supporting documents.

 

3) Clients registered after 01-04-2015 only in NSE/ BSE and wants to register in MCX/NCDEX, are required to give additional segment letter which contains Tariff sheet and Rights & Obligation & other declaration form for commodity as per Annexure-A & Annexure-B attached.

4) Customers are also required to provide Copy of the any one of the following self-attested supporting documents, which is mandatory for the Client opting to trade in Derivatives Segments. Non-Individual Clients are also required to submit their Annual Account every Year.


- Latest Copy of ITR Acknowledgement.
- Net Worth Certificate.
- Copy of Annual Accounts.
- Salary Slip for 3 Months (Latest).
- Copy of Form 16 in case of Salary Income.
- Bank account statement for last 6 months.
- Copy of Demat Account Holding Statement.

In case of Non-individual clients, affix relevant Company Stamp and Signed by authorized signatories & Fresh Board Resolution is also required.



P.S: At present, the online segment activation facility is available exclusively for Individual clients. Non-Individual clients must complete the process through the offline mode. (Forms attached for reference).
