Why was my Funds Withdrawal request rejected?

There could be various reasons for the Funds Withdrawal rejection. However, the major reason could be the following:

  1. Trade settlement is not completed. Or
  2. The margin is blocked against the open position.                                                                                

Trade settlement is not completed: Please note that the settlement cycle for Equity and Derivative segment (Futures and Options) segment is T+1 working days. If you raise a request for fund withdrawal before completion of settlement, then the request can be rejected.

The margin blocked against the open position: Another reason for the rejection of a Fund withdrawal request can be due to margin blocked against an open position in any segment.
